Bucharest Playhouse organizes the 5th semester workshop for actors and non-actors, "Western acting techniques".
These days I propose to explore the main elements of Western philosophy in approaching the art of the actor, very different from the methods taught in theater schools in Romania.
Among the analyzed tools:
Exterior & Interior Global Objective, Scenic Objective, Obstacles, Units and Actions, Subtext, Activities.
Even if you are already a theater graduate, a student at a specialized faculty or just an aspirant who wants to understand some of the secrets of this much-loved profession, we invite you on the first weekend of August to discover together some tools that will make us understand more well, the roles we have to play, and why not, ourselves.
